Elevated feeders:
To get the right feeder for your beloved pet measure your pet to make sure they are getting the maximum benefit from the feeder. Measure them to the wither (top of the shoulder ) then for small dogs subtract 4 inches, for larger dogs subtract 6 inches. This is where the feeder should be for the dog to get max benefit.
Elevated feeders promote healthy digestion by reducing the intake of air as the dog eats or drinks. Excessive air can result in offensive intestinal gas and in larger dogs may contribute to "bloat". Raised feeders encourage better posture which is especially important for dogs with arthritis by reducing strain on the neck, back, and hip joints.
